In April we focused on South Africa (April 16) and Indonesia (April 23).
Friday, the 16th of April at 7pm, we screened a movie/docu about village life in South Africa, introduced by Nathalie Sanga, an APU graduate student who lived for 12 years in cape Town, South Africa and is fluent in Japanese. She was very happy to answer all your questions after the screening and told us she enjoyed the experience. Good to hear that! Please come to the next screening, Nathalie! The people showed their appreciation for the project and donated quite a lot to support the NGO's Hoshi Zora and Room to Read (see charity link). Thanks for that! Nobody complained about the fact that we had to cancel Tsotsi, so this means the people are there for many more reasons than just watching a movie. Stay tuned for our next screening!
